In 2011, she joined the family business, Fiction Clothing – A family brand, well known through Pakistan for its casual & smart casual western wear. For over a decade, Fiction Clothing has endeavored to ensure quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.
Rabia’s first venture was taking forward the women’s line at Fiction where she ideated Fiction Concepts (2012-2016), and expanding into Pret-A-Porter fusion wear.
Being hardworking and ambitious, her interest in print spurred her passion for design. Venturing further into the Fashion Industry – her very own line of ready to wear clothing for Women under the label “Rabia Wahab”.
Her work is a depiction of sensual designs blended with multi-cultural influences. By this time, she had mastered the categories of Luxury Pret & Formals. Using her screen printing skills and figurative embroideries, she brings to life manufacturing some modern pieces, with use of traditional indigenous materials amidst a rainbow of colors.
